Rates used in the calculators
For accounts or calculations in the 1 Oct–31 Dec 2026 quarter, Wealth Planner displays 7.1% for PPF, 7.7% for NSC, 8.2% for SSY and 8.2% for SCSS. These are dated inputs, not permanent promises, and you can change the rate in each calculator.
- PPF and SSY projections should be revisited when future quarterly rates are notified.
- SCSS is modeled as a quarterly payout rather than automatic reinvestment.
- NSC uses the selected account rate and annual compounding assumption.
How to compare them
Compare eligibility, lock-in, payout timing, taxation, nomination, premature access, and goal date before comparing maturity values. A higher displayed rate can still be unsuitable if the product does not match the required liquidity.
Before acting
Open the official notification and current scheme documents. The calculator is an educational model and does not replace the institution's account terms or personal tax advice.
